Cameron,
Never met the guy, so I can’t say. Why?

Beatriz,
I think he’s haunting my apartment.
I first saw him around last Christmas, but I thought I was having a nightmare. I fell asleep on the couch and woke to him standing over me.
Then I saw him again this morning. I wasn’t asleep, so I know it wasn’t a dream. I was making breakfast in the kitchen, and when I turned around, he was standing behind me and glaring like he wanted to kill me.
He disappeared a few seconds later, but I think he’s still here.
The thing is–and I know it sounds crazy–he had a white beard and a red suit. His skin was blue-tinged and desiccated like he froze to death. And I know he means harm. I could feel it when he was looking at me.
My family is coming to visit for Christmas, and I’m worried the ghost will hurt us–or worse. I don’t know what to do. I can’t tell them I’m canceling the holidays because I’m being haunted by an evil Santa.
Have you ever dealt with something like this before? What should I do?

Cameron,
I can’t comment on Santa, but whatever’s in your apartment seems to be a ghost.
I’d suggest telling your family your apartment has a busted water pipe and putting them up in a hotel.
If you want to schedule an exorcism, the soonest I can manage is after Christmas.

Beatriz,
So you think it’s the ghost of a dead guy who just happens to look like Santa? I don’t know if that’s better or worse.
No thanks on the exorcism. My lease is up next month. I’ll stay with a friend until then.
Ghost Santa can be the next renter’s problem.
