Urban Fantasy Book Review Roundup (June 2021)

I love book review blogs. How did people decide what to read before they existed? Those must have been dark, dark days.

Here are a few urban fantasy book reviews posted this month that piqued my interest, as I’m always on the lookout for new stuff to read.

Million Dollar Demon Cover

The Obsessive Bookseller reviewed Million Dollar Demon and commented how The Hollows is a long-running urban fantasy series that hasn’t dropped in quality.

Midnight Movie Cover

Speaking of long-running series, Midnight Movie is the fourteenth book in the Ellie Jordan, Ghost Trapper series. I haven’t gotten that far into the series yet but enjoyed what I’ve read so far. Reading the Paranormal has a review of the book here.

The Wayward Wizard Cover

Superstardrifter reviewed The Wayward Wizard as part of this year’s Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off and recommends it for fans of wizards and urban fantasy.

Drowning Cover

Drowning by Jennifer Forist is the first in a new trilogy about elementals and fae. Books with Raven calls it a must-read fantasy in her review.

Nice Girls Don't Have Fangs

Finally, Red-Haired Ash Reads reviewed the audio book version of Nice Girls Don’t Have Fangs, which sounds like a blast.

Do you have thoughts on any of these books? Want to shout out a helpful book review you read this month? Let me know in the comments!
